Spartan Lambda Controller 2 has been replaced by Spartan 3 Lite v2
Spartan 2 will only work with genuine Bosch LSU 4.9 sensors, clone sensors are not compatible.
Spartan 2 is a purebred Wideband Oxygen Controller for the Bosch LSU 4.9 Wideband sensor with no excess.
14Point7 stands behind this product with a warranty that is twice as long as any competing product, 2 years
Spartan 2 is equipped with both an analog Linear Output and Simulated Narrowband Output that is compatible with most gauges, ECUs, dataloggers, etc…
The advanced design, highest quality components, and extensive factory calibration means 0.01 Lambda accuracy — without the need for any calibration.
Spartan 2 is designed with MegaSquirt in mind, Spartan 2’s Output Sequencer feature provides MegaSquirt with calibration signals to achieve the highest Lambda accuracy possible over the analog Linear Output. To find out more please follow the link here
Note: Lambda sensor carries a 3-month warranty. Earlier versions of Spartan 2 were made with all high-temperature automotive grade components, current versions use a mix of industrial and automotive grade components due to obsolescence of key automotive-grade components.
Features:
Spartan 2 utilizes the Bosch LSU 4.9 Wideband O2 Sensor - a cost efficient Wideband O2 sensor providing 0.01 Lambda accuracy, fast response, and rated life of 100,000 km |
Compatible with all fuels | AFR/Lambda range, 0.68[Lambda] to 1.36[Lambda], 10[AFR] to 20[AFR] equivalent for gasoline
0.01 Lambda accuracy without the need for any calibration |
Utilizes our patent pending Binary Drive technology; no other system is more digital |
Linear Output allows easy interfacing with gauges, fuel management systems, and data-loggers | Linear Output: 0[V] @ 0.68[Lambda] linear to 5[V] @ 1.36[Lambda], 10[AFR] linear to 20[AFR] equivalent for gasoline
Our innovative Output Sequencer feature means our Wideband O2 Controllers to have the most accurate Linear Output on the market. You can be sure that any device connected to the Linear Output will receive the most accurate AFR/Lambda signal possible here | The Output Sequencer provides a dual level precision voltage signal to the Linear Output. This allows you to easily check that the AFR/Lambda seen by any device connected to the Linear Output is accurate, and if not, to generate a 2 point calibration to achieve perfect accuracy MegaSquirt users, check out how to use the Output Sequencer for maximum AFR accuracy
Simulated Narrowband Output allows you to install a Wideband O2 Sensor in place of your Narrowband O2 sensor | Simulated Narrowband switch point @ 1[Lambda], 14.7[AFR] equivalent for gasoline
Easy 4-wire installation for most setups |
A Two-Year Warranty that is twice as long as any competing product |
60 day money back guarantee |

Spartan 2 Compatible Products:
Solid AFR Gauge
Premium Oxygen Sensor Bung
Standard Oxygen Sensor Bung
Bosch LSU 4.9
installation was pretty easy its literally just running a wire !!!! also recommend you purchase the gauge to go with this as it looks great
item arrived sensor seems to have been a new but pretested before sent out to prevent errors i do appreciate the quality control there
item was much smaller than i anticipated and seems to be easier to hide away its basically a long cable u can cut to length
added bonus was that it emulates narrowband signal for stock computer so u can have wideband without putting a bunch of holes in ur system :)
